Bring a workshop to your community

ACIJ has workshops available on Know Your Rights, weather readiness, voter education, community health, worker safety, and much more!

We can bring these workshops to your community - or we can work with you to give these workshops. Contact your local organizer (info below) to start planning!

Join our policy workgroup

Last year, our Leadership Council voted to pursue two major policy changes: college access and driver's licenses for undocumented Alabamians. Our wonderful policy fellows have already started researching, and we are ready to develop our campaigns.

Upcoming Events

We need donations for migrants released from ICE!

We continue hosting migrants through the Birmingham Migrant Transit Project. We are in need of winter clothes for people released from detention centers across the South and brought to Birmingham to travel to their destinations.

Come see us in Enterprise!

We're bringing the ACIJ office closer to more communities through regular monthly office hours. Starting on February 6, our organizer Andie will be at the Enterprise Public Library from 12 - 6:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month. She's offering a Know Your Rights workshop starting at 5pm. She'll host open hours and a workshop each visit. Come by and say hello if you're in the area!
